Octavia's Mail

Octavia's Mail is an installation set up in the Octopus Garden, a community garden in the Friendship neighborhood of Pittsburgh, which encourages visitors to write notes to one another. Whether it's advice, encouragement, or a positive thought, Octavia's Mail is a small but powerful way to find connection at a time of social distancing and isolation due to COVID-19.

Deliverables included handpainted mailboxes, designed postcards and print material, and a final presentation video that doubled as a goodbye-for-now to friends and professors.
